Calgary, AB – Lightsaber performance is coming to life in Calgary this April as stunt performer and saber specialist Michelle C. Smith announces her Cinematic Staff & Lightsaber Spinning Workshop.
Known for her dynamic choreography and technical precision, Smith has captivated fans by blending movement, flow, and storytelling. For many, wielding a lightsaber isn’t just fandom, it’s stepping into a galaxy far, far away.
A regular presence at fan conventions, Smith has built a reputation for teaching the artistry behind saber combat, from controlled spins to cinematic fight sequences. Smith has also built a massive online following (millions of followers across platforms) because people love her lightsaber and staff tutorials — fans often call her the “Queen of Lightsabers” and follow her content eagerly for tips and inspiration.
But for Smith, demonstrations and appearances weren’t enough.
